Privacy Policy

StockTouch AI (“we,” “us,” or “StockTouch”) is published by Stock Alarm, LLC. This Privacy Policy describes how the StockTouch AI iOS app collects, uses, and shares information about you. It applies only to the StockTouch AI app and the stocktouch.ai website. Stock Alarm, LLC’s other products (the Stock Alarm app, pro.stockalarm.io) are governed by their own privacy policies, available on their respective sites.

We minimize data collection. The categories below cover everything we receive, store, or share.

Account information

• Apple ID identifier and Firebase UID — when you Sign in with Apple, Apple provides a stable, anonymized user identifier. We exchange it for a Firebase user ID via Firebase Authentication.
• Name and email — only if you choose to share them via Sign in with Apple. Apple may relay an alias email instead of your real address; we use whichever you provide. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Sign-In & Security.

App activity

• Watchlist symbols — the stock tickers you have starred, stored under your account so they sync across devices.
• Alert configurations — the price thresholds, percent change targets, and other conditions you create. These are stored under your account so the server can evaluate and notify you when triggered.
• App preferences — your chosen color theme, layout, sort and filter selections, and onboarding survey responses (so the app opens to your preferred view).

Device and notification information

• Push notification token— your device’s Apple Push Notification service (APNs) token, used solely to deliver the alerts you create.
• Device identifiers — anonymous identifiers used by Firebase and Apple StoreKit for crash reporting, fraud prevention, and App Store transaction validation. We do not link these to your name.

Subscription information

• Purchase status — whether you have an active subscription, trial period status, and entitlement level. Apple processes the actual payment; we receive only the entitlement state via RevenueCat.
• We do not collect your credit card number, billing address, or other payment details. Those are handled entirely by Apple.

What we do NOT collect

• Your contacts, photos, location, microphone, or camera.
• Your real name unless you provide it via Sign in with Apple.
• Web browsing activity outside the StockTouch AI app or the stocktouch.ai website.
• Any data from your other Stock Alarm, LLC accounts unless you have explicitly linked them.

• To provide the core app features (heatmap, watchlist, alerts).
• To deliver push notifications when your alert conditions are met.
• To sync your account state across devices when you sign in.
• To validate subscription status and grant Pro features.
• To diagnose crashes and improve reliability.

We do not use your data for advertising, do not sell it to anyone, and do not share it with third parties for marketing.

We use a small number of trusted infrastructure providers. Each is bound by their own privacy commitments and applicable data-processing agreements.

• Apple, Inc.— Sign in with Apple, App Store transactions, Apple Push Notification service. Apple’s privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy.
• Google Firebase — Authentication, Realtime Database (account data, watchlist, alerts), Cloud Messaging (push delivery). Firebase privacy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
• RevenueCat, Inc. — subscription entitlement management. Privacy: revenuecat.com/privacy.
• Vercel, Inc. — hosting for the stocktouch.ai website (no app data passes through Vercel). Privacy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete Account), we permanently remove your watchlist, alert configurations, profile, and related records from our database within 30 days. Subscription transaction records may be retained longer where required for tax, accounting, or legal compliance.

You can:

• Access or export your data — email support@stockalarm.com.
• Delete your account — in the app: MORE → Delete Account. Removal is immediate locally and within 30 days on our servers.
• Revoke Sign in with Apple— in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → StockTouch AI → Stop using Apple ID.
• Disable notifications — iOS Settings → Notifications → StockTouch AI.
• Manage your subscription — iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.

Residents of California, the EU/UK, and other jurisdictions with data protection laws (CCPA, GDPR, etc.) have additional rights including access, correction, deletion, and the right to object to processing. Contact support@stockalarm.com to exercise these rights.

StockTouch AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact support@stockalarm.com and we will delete it.

We use Firebase’s database security rules to scope access so that only your authenticated account can read or write your data. Data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app and reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
